WHAT IS MENTORSHIP?
Mentorship is a very biblical initiative to mould a mentee to be what God created her for.
It is not reproduction of a copy of the mentor in the mentee.
It is not a process of infilling the mentee with something they don't have but stirring up of what God has put inside the mentee.

The Excellent Christ. The Mediocre Christian
The other day just as we sat down for dinner my nine year old daughter began laughing like she does when she remembers a funny incident that happened earlier. “Can you imagine God walking down a cat walk” she asked me through her laughter. I was just about to chastise her for having such irreverent thoughts when she explained her question by asking another question. “Why do we say that God is beautiful if we have never seen Him, and if it is Jesus we are talking about, won’t we say he is handsome not beautiful’. 
There comes a time; a moment in everyone’s life when for a time, we go off course. Those very moments when we fail, make mistakes, we are knocked down or we loose direction and therefore get lost in the wilderness. It’s at these times; in the wilderness, that we sometimes respond by retaliating against the world, against those who’ve hurt us, against ourselves and runaway from our problems, weaknesses and mistakes, our failure, hurts and disappointments.
